Pictures of Ireland

Hello.
I have a few pictures from Ireland to share. As I said yesterday it was nice to do a mixture of new things, things we haven't done for years and things which have become traditions.

One of the things which I hadn't done before was visit Belfast Zoo. It is a very impressive zoo, with a great variety of animals and a few which I have never seen before. That was the day I took most pictures. Here are a few of my favourites.

I have been to Giant's Causeway before. It was really nice to go back there now that I'm older and can appreciate it more. It was a shame we went when it was so wet and windy, but it is still a beautiful place. There was also a great view from the top of the difficult path, which we chose to walk. The first picture is the rocks which form Giant's Causeway and the second is the view from the top of the difficult path.

The beach at Rossnowlagh is a must do for us. It is such a beautiful beach. Usually while I'm there I will spend most of my time in the sea, but this time I went exploring on the rocks.

I always like to go for a walk up my uncle's hill while we are there too. It's so peaceful up there, with the only sound being the sheep.

Back soon...

Hello.
I'm just posting to let people know that I will be gone for a while. I will be in Ireland from Sunday 7th to Sunday 14th, and I will have no internet where I am staying. I do however have two posts scheduled for while I am away.

That is me the last time I was in Ireland walking up the path which leads to my Uncle's house.

Photos from Ireland

Hello.
No cards for the moment, but I might be back with one later. I just thought I'd share with you a few pictures from my week in Ireland. First off here are the three beautiful beaches we visited. Murvagh, Fintra and Rossnowlagh.

My Auntie has got all the family into crabbing, so now every time we go to Ireland we end up at Mount Charles. We do put all the crabs back into the sea once the bucket has been filled.

Here are half of us drinking Guiness at the famous pub Biddy O'Barnes.

And finally a view of the sunset from the house we stayed in. During the night you get a gorgeous view of the stars from here as the nearest town is so far away there is no light pollution.

I'm back.

Hello.
I'm back from my lovely, relaxing trip to Ireland. We arrived back to my house at about half past midnight last night. I'm just going to share with you a few pictures from the trip.

This is the house that we stay in, and the view from the front door. These pictures were actually taken when I was there last September. It was a lot sunnier that time, we had quite a bit of rain this time. The house looks quite small from the outside, but it does sleep ten people.

My uncle has a hill not too far from where we stayed, where he has a sheep farm. We took a trip up to see him and I got to hold a couple of lambs. This one is about two weeks old, but the other one I held was only born that day.
And this is the view my uncle wakes upto every morning. When we go in smaller groups we usually stay at his house, and I love to just sit on the hill and look out over this.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Hello.
No card to share at the moment, but I will be back with one later. For now, I just wanted to post a picture of the beauty that is Ireland. This is from last September when I went with my family. It is a lake that we just happened to be driving past on our way back to the house we were staying in.

I am going again on the 1st April and I really can not wait.
