Ska Man

Hello.
Friday is my Uncle's 50th birthday, and Saturday he is having a big party. I took inspiration from the card James made for my birthday and painted this card for him.

Belated Christmas Cards

Hello.
I had planned to post these five cards individually on the five days leading up to Christmas, but I ended up working a lot and didn't have time, so here they all are bunched into one post.

This one is made just using papers from the Papermania Honey and Hugs 'Festive Frolics' 12x12 kit.

This one is made just using papers from the Papermania 'Classic Christmas' 12x12 kit.

These papers are from the 'A Wonderful Christmas Time' 6x6 pad by Papermania. The stamp is from a set designed by Adam Pescott exclusively for 'Make Christmas Cards - Vintage Special' magazine.

Everything but the square gems on this card are from a special edition magazine which was called 'Just Great Papers - Christmas Cards'.

The two stamps used on this card also came from a set which was free with a magazine, these ones are by a company called onefourzero. The tartan paper is from the 'Checks' 6x6 pad by Paper Cellar.

50!

Hello.
Sorry, I ended up disappearing for about a month again. I was having problems with Java so I'm trying this post on a different browser. I'll be sharing a few of the cards I didn't get to post over the next few days. This card was made for my Auntie who turned 50 recently. It's a really simple card, made using just a couple of sheets of the same paper, some 3d number stickers and a couple of pens to add some faux stitching.

Christmas in September part 2

Hello.
Here are the second five of my ten Christmas cards for September. All of these were made using only the Nitwit Collections 'Still Jolly Hearts' activity pack which came with this months issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft.

Christmas in August and September

Hello.
I didn't manage to make my ten Christmas cards for August so today I have made fifteen. Ten of these are counting for August's cards and the other five will be the first half of Septembers. The paper is from the 'Rose Tinted Christmas' 6x6 pad by Papermania. There are five sheets of each design, so I used all the five for this design to create my fifteen cards. These are probably the quickest and easiest card sets I have made.

Have I?

Hello.
This card started out with me choosing the sticker I wanted as my sentiment and building around that.

Hello!

Hello.
This card is made using papers and a die cut from the 'Just Chillin' boys range by Making Memories. I thought I would try writing on the card but I'm not sure I liked how it turned out.

Photo book

Hello.
This photo book is made entirely from Papermania products all of which were bought for me by my FMIL. The papers and the two small flowers are from the Verde colour range in the Capsule collection. The two larger flowers are made using the 3D Petals template sheet.

Here are what the pages look like at the moment. I chose the pictures I wanted to put in, but the printer ran out of coloured ink.

Tuesday 20th

Hello.
A pair of Christmas cards today. They both use an iris folding template. The template was used to sponge the trees onto the second card, and then the template was sponged all over the go on the first card.

Monday 19th

Hello.
Today I am not really here. I am currently travelling to Ireland, so this post and the posts for the next week will be scheduled. The first few posts will be the five cards which finish the ten Christmas cards for July and the rest will just be random.

Today's card is fairly simple as I wanted the background to be seen. It was embossed using my cuttlebug. I added some heart shaped gems to the centre of the larger snowflakes. The 'Joy' chipboard is from a packet I have had for a while, but I don't have the label for it anymore.

Happy Aniversary!

Hello.
Today is my parents anniversary. I shared recently the card my Mum has sent to my Dad and now I am going to show you the one's they will both be receiving. The sugar packets on this one are from Coffee Revolution. I saved them because both my parents have the initials CR so they were perfect for this card. This is being sent by my brother and his girlfriend.
This is the one James and I will be sending.
- The paper is from a DCWV 8x8 pad. (I'm not sure which one as I no longer have the cover.)
- The letters are 'Shimmer Alpha White' by Making Memories.

Parent's Anniversary

Hello.
Sorry I disappeared for a few days, but I am back now. The fourth of July is my parents anniversary. My Dad will be in Kazakhstan though, so my Mum asked me for a card to slip into his bag. I don't have any anniversary stamps so I had to see what I could use instead. Here is what I have made for her.- All papers are from the 'Honey and Hugs' 8x8 pad by Papermania.

Red, white and blue challenge

Hello.
As the two groups ERPOM! and Ten to Tango are merging both groups are still running their challenges until a new schedule is sorted out. So along with Heather's challenge (see my last post) we also have Paige's challenge. Paige has set the challenge of using red, white and blue. Details on the challenge are here. After thinking for a while what to do for this challenge I spotted the leftover Spiderman paper plates from James' birthday, which inspired me to use the wrapping paper I used for his birthday card. I cut the same image out three times and popped some sections off, but I forgot to take a side-on shot. Then I cut a circle from the front of the card and covered it in acetate so that the circle on the inside frames the image on the outside. Here is the circle on the inside which will be used for writing on.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Hello.
On a recent post Jeanette mentioned about things that look better in your head. This turned out to be one of those things. The photo is of Billie Joe from Wednesday. It was taken during Boulevard of Broken Dreams so I have written the lyrics to that song along the back.

Wallace and Gromit

Hello.
I've had a little re-organise of a few bits and I found a Wallace and Gromit kit that came with a magazine. Here's a quick set I made using it. The card is 3x3 and the bookmark is made using what I cut off the original card size.

A couple of birthday cards.

Hello.
This first card was made using only elements from the 'Winnie's Walls' 12x12 kit by S.E.I. The kit was bought for me by my FMIL.

Here is the inside. It has already been written, so you can see James and I are sending this one to my Grandma.

I bought a magazine yesterday which had some bumble bear stamps free with it. They are so cute, so I had to make a card with them straight away. Here's what I came up with.
- Both papers are from the 'Rose Garden' 6x6 pad by Papermania
- The sentiment is from 'Worth Repeating' by Stampology

Guitar

Hello.
The two papers on this are from the 'Rock Queen' mat stack by DCWV. They are inked along the edges using a silver ink pad.

Baby boy card

Hello.
Here is the boy card to match the girl card from the last post.

Baby girl card

Hello.
The sheep and sentiment on this card are both rub-on's from a set I bought at Poundland. I bought five different sets and I think I've only used one of the rub-on's before now. I will be making a boy card to match this when I get chance.

Couple of birthdays

Hello.
June is a pretty busy time for people I know having birthdays, so there will probably be a few birthday cards showing up on here over the next few days. Here are a couple that I made yesterday (I need to stop posting at 1 and 2am). I'm not sure yet who they will be going to.

The first card started out as being based on this weeks SCS sketch challenge, but I ended up changing it. I think you can still kind of tell where the inspiration came from.

The sketch:

This one is for the free for all challenge on SCS, which is to use the spotlight technique. I don't have any image stamps big enough to do this technique properly so I thought I would give it a try with paper. I love how it turned out!

A close up to show the writing a bit clearer.
