Happy Birthday Keeley!

Hello.
Today is James' sister's birthday. For her card I created a background using a paper from the Venaissance paper pack designed by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and gold embossed a crown on it from the Regal Greetings stamp set from Unity Stamp. The paper was then cut using some deckle edge scissors. For the sentiment I used the Cool Britannia stamp set by Louise Allen, which was cut out and backed on a piece of gold card.

Burly Girl

Hello.
My cousin and her boyfriend are part of a team filming a documentary about burlesque for their university work. A couple of weeks back they were filming a show, which James and I went to and really enjoyed. I saw this image from Simply Betty Stamps before we went, and I couldn't resist getting it with plans of using it on a card for my cousin.

Happy Birthday John!

Hello.
Today is my Uncle's birthday. I am sending him this card featuring Malice from Delicious Doodles. He's interested in history so I thought a warrior woman would be perfect for him. The paper she is backed on has a bronze shimmer to it, which I used to match the metal in the picture.
