Happy Mother's Day!

Hello.
Today is Mother's Day in the UK. I have made matching cards for mine and James' mum using Daisy with Flowers from The Stamping Shack

Goth Rock Star

Hello.
This is the calender I have made for myself. I have used Shy Goth Girl by what was Squiggle Stamps, but they have closed and their stamps have moved to The Stamping Shack. The background paper is from the Rock Star pack by Best Creations. I finished off the empty corner with some gems.

Rock Queen

Hello.
Today's card uses 'Shy Goth Girl' from Squiggle Stamps. She is backed on three papers from the Rock Queen pad by DCWV. The layout for this card was based on Sketch 266 on Mojo Monday.

And, a quick update on James. He came home yesterday and is doing pretty good. In two weeks he goes back to the hospital to see how the foot is getting on, and to have a new cast put on. I've passed on everyone's well wishes and he says thank you.

31 Day Card Challenge - Day 14

Hello.
Glitter is the challenge for day 14 of the 31 Day Card Challenge. I have two different glitters on my card. The paper I used from the Designstax pad by Papermania is glittered, and I added two strips of double sided tape which I covered with blue glitter. The Raggy Pony image is another of the Goth Kidz from Squiggle. I am loving those images at the moment.

31 Day Card Challenge - Day 12

Hello.
The second of the item challenges for the 31 Day Card Challenge is to use material. My first thought was ribbon, but I wanted to use something different. I have a scrap of denim from an old skirt in my craft room so I decided to use that. Skullz Boy by Squiggle stamps is backed by the denim and then two papers from the Rock Star pack by Best Creations. The final layer is from my scraps. Everything except the image was inked to give a grungy look.

Red Head

Hello.
A non-challenge card for this post. I wanted to use this image on a card, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. I asked James what colours he thought she should be. Once she was coloured I chose a Christmas paper to go with her, and finished off with one of the Kid Quotes.

There's a smaller version of the same image on the inside too.

Geek

Hello.
I was sorry to find out recently that Squiggle Stamps will be closing by the end of the year. All their stamps are currently on 50% off, so I would definitely suggest checking the shop out before it's gone. Geek Goth Boy which I used on this card is from there. I think Kraft cards look great CAS so I kept this card simple by just adding a sentiment and some faux stitching.

Little Monster

Hello.
When I was sorting through my scraps I found this oval which I had coloured and drawn a  pattern on. It stood out from the rest of the scraps so I thought I should use it. I then looked through my pile of printed digi's and came across this monster from Squiggle Stamps, so I coloured him to match the oval and layered them together. I used decorative scissors to add a pattern to the side of the card, and then coloured some paper in the same shade again and stuck that to the inside edge of the card. The sentiment to finish is from the Thank You set by Hobbycraft.

Happy Days

Hello.
This card uses my new favourite paper pad Happy Days by Papermania. The stamp was printed twice so that I could pop the balloon up.

Coraline

Hello.
I had two copies of this image printed and as I was colouring one for a different card I thought the image reminded me of Coraline. I think it's because her eyes look a little like buttons. So I coloured this image in colours which Coraline is most often depicted wearing. The image is by Squiggle Stamps. The sentiment is for the Birthday set by Hobbycraft. I had to add a few buttons to the card to finish it, these ones are all from the Tub 'O Buttons.

Monster Love

Hello.
I seem to be going through a phase of using monsters and creatures on cards at the moment. Here is another one to add to the collection. These three cute monsters are by Squiggle Stamps, and the sentiment is from My Grafico.
