CYDI? Challenge #22 - Favourite Animal

Hello.
It's challenge time over on the Can You Digi It? blog and this time we are using our favourite animals. I have a few favourite animals, but this Meerkat stood out to me, as I end up spending a lot of time watching them whenever we go to somewhere that has them. Click this link to go to the challenge, and I hope you can play along.

31 Day Card Challenge - Day 9

Hello.
Day 9's challenge for the 31 Day Card Challenge is stamp kissing. It's a technique I've never tried before, and it turns out me and stamp kissing don't get along. I decided to try with two different paisley stamps, and the one on the card is the third attempt at it. I might give it another try with different stamps, and different inks, but for now here is my stamp kissing card.

Little Monster

Hello.
When I was sorting through my scraps I found this oval which I had coloured and drawn a  pattern on. It stood out from the rest of the scraps so I thought I should use it. I then looked through my pile of printed digi's and came across this monster from Squiggle Stamps, so I coloured him to match the oval and layered them together. I used decorative scissors to add a pattern to the side of the card, and then coloured some paper in the same shade again and stuck that to the inside edge of the card. The sentiment to finish is from the Thank You set by Hobbycraft.

Butterflies

Hello.
This is just a really quick and simple card. I used a couple of my favourite craft items on it; the Swiss dots embossing folder and the Kingfisherlicious colour spray. The butterfly is from the Thank You set by Hobbycraft.

Happy birthday Grandma!

Hello.
Today is my Grandma's birthday, but the card I am sharing is not the one I sent her. I ended up sending her the one from this post. I just wanted to dedicate the post to her for her birthday.

This card uses Fallen by Delicious Doodles, and some paper that was in my scrap box. The flowers are from Papermania's Petal Pouch, and I coloured to match her dress. I used gems for the flowers centres, and finished off the card with a sentiment from Hobbycraft's Thank You set.

Russian dolls

Hello.
This card uses a combination of four different stamp companies. The image of the doll comes from another magazine freebie set, which doesn't have a company name on it. I used the masking technique to turn it into three dolls. The clear flower is from the stamp set in Dovecraft's Sugar and Spice range. The block flower is from Kanban's Jungle Creatures set,and the sentiment comes from Hobbycraft's Thank You set.
