Santa

Hello.
I couldn't resist the adorable Nitwit stamp set which came with the latest Simply Homemade magazine. The Santa from that set was used for this card. Santa's candy cane has star dust Stickles between each stripe. The paper he is backed on is from a collection designed by Beth Gunnell. The snowflake and sentiment are both from a Polka Doodles set. All the papers on this card have silver ink along the edges, although the picture is only showing it on the patterned paper.

Live the Life You Love

Hello.
I pulled out an old card base for this one. I have had this pack of decorative cards (I don't have the box, but I think they were by DCWV) for a few years and barely used any of them. They caught my eye when I sat down to make this though. It's always fun to rediscover old supplies so I might use a few more of them soon.

Ladybird/bug

Hello.
I've always known them as ladybirds, but I know most people reading my blog will know them better as ladybugs so I wasn't sure what to title this post. Either way this one is cute, it's from a Nitwit set which came with Simply Homemade magazine. I paper pieced it using four papers from DCWV's 'The Sweet Stack'. The flowers around the edge were given to me by my Mum a while back, I'm not sure what company they are from.

Altered Box.

Hello.
This is my first attempt at an altered box. I coloured it using Crafty Notions 'Creative Colour Spray' in Maple. Then added a sentiment from the Loving Life Collection. I added some gold faux stitching around the edge before adding some Papermania flowers to the corner which were also sprayed in Maple.
