DI Bear take 2

Hello.
Today I had a little more time to play with this free digi stamp from Delightful Inspirations, so here is what I came up with.- The paper is embossed using the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder.
- The bow came from the wrapping on a pair of slipper socks.
- 'Happy Birthday' is from 'Worth Repeating' by Stampology.

DI Bear

Hello.
This is the last of this months free digital stamps from Delightful Inspirations. I made this one quite simple, beucase I needed to get it done quick. I drew and coloured the background to match the wrapping on the present.

Hawthorne and Bramble

Hello.
I love this cute little hedgehog, but this image takes so long to colour this is only the second time he's been inked up.

All supplies are from the 'Hawthorne and Bramble' line in the 'Daisy and Dandelion' range by Docrafts. The papers are from the A5 paper pack and the stamps are from the 'Just a Note to Say' set.

Bookmarks

Hello.
I have a couple of bookmarks to share today. This first one uses images from 'Asian Characters' by Inkadinkado. I stamped the lady first then masked her to stamp the lanterns on the background.
This second one uses 'Raining Hearts' by Elzybells. This is coloured using promarkers, papermania watercolour markers and marvy brush markers.

Quick and Simple birthday card

Hello.
I made this card in ten minutes before I had to set off to work, so it's just something quick and simple.
- The papers are all from the 'Spring Burst' 6x6 pad by Papermania

Red, white and blue challenge

Hello.
As the two groups ERPOM! and Ten to Tango are merging both groups are still running their challenges until a new schedule is sorted out. So along with Heather's challenge (see my last post) we also have Paige's challenge. Paige has set the challenge of using red, white and blue. Details on the challenge are here. After thinking for a while what to do for this challenge I spotted the leftover Spiderman paper plates from James' birthday, which inspired me to use the wrapping paper I used for his birthday card. I cut the same image out three times and popped some sections off, but I forgot to take a side-on shot. Then I cut a circle from the front of the card and covered it in acetate so that the circle on the inside frames the image on the outside. Here is the circle on the inside which will be used for writing on.

Happy birthday Anne!

Hello.
Yesterday was my Auntie's birthday. This is the card James and I sent. She listens to all sorts of different music so that is what I based the card on. I will also be entering this into Heather's ERPOM! challenge, which is to create your own background paper.
- The music note is from the 'Rock Star' set by Inkadinkado
- The dancing girl is from the 'In The Groove' set by Inkadinkado
- The sentiment is from the 'Just Chillin' girls' set by Making Memories

Christmas in June

Hello.
My ten Christmas cards for June are all going to be the same design. I have only made this one so far, but the others will be the same, except with slightly different colouring. I love that I can make everything match using my promarkers. The larger circle was white, until I coloured it and I used the same pen to colour the sentiment stamp.

- Both stamps are from the 'Cold Nose Warm Heart' set by Elzybells.

DI Bird

Hello.
After three or four days of being unhappy with everything I've created I have finally made something I like! This is made using the latest freebie in the progressive challenge at Delightful Inspiration. I also followed the latest SCS sketch.
There were also four sentiments and I have used this really sweet one on the inside.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Hello.
On a recent post Jeanette mentioned about things that look better in your head. This turned out to be one of those things. The photo is of Billie Joe from Wednesday. It was taken during Boulevard of Broken Dreams so I have written the lyrics to that song along the back.

Thinking of you

Hello.
Before I get to today's card I just wanted to tell you that I had such an amazing day yesterday. My fourth time seeing Green Day, and every time they out-do themselves. Plus me and James had a lovely meal at the Hard Rock cafe before the concert. Then today he took me out to buy Green Day rock band, so I might not be here for a while, as I'll be playing on the Xbox ;)

On to the card. I started this card a couple of days ago, but wasn't sure what sentiment to add so I left it. This morning I went back to it and added this sentiment. - Papers are from the 'Rose Garden' 6x6 pad by Papermania
- The sentiment is from the sheep set in the Honey and Hugs line by Papermania.

Simple birthday set

Hello.
A super quick and simple set of eight birthday cards to share today. I actually finished them a couple of days ago, and am only posting them as I haven't got anything new to share. Hopefully I can get something done tomorrow. Today though, I am off to Manchester to see Green Day. I am so excited right now!

Leaving card.

Hello.
I mentioned a while back James was going for an interview for management training. He didn't get on, but two girls from work did (Laura and Kay) and today is Laura's last days with us. I was asked last night to make a good luck card for her. After nothing came to me I designed this using the 'Moody Blues' kit by Shabby Princess. I have now been told that Kay has bought a card for Laura so this will be going to Kay instead.
James was determined to send a card to Laura with one of the Doodlefactory creatures on, and he seems to have taken quite a shine to Zed. He was going to send this card, but it has a mark on the back, so I cut the front off and used it on this one. So Laura will be receiving this card from me and James.
Just a quick FYI. James will be trying again for the course in September.

Fairytale couple

Hello.
I'm slowly working my way through all the new Elzybells stamps that I bought, so here is another card using two of them. I thought the paper would match perfectly with these stamps as it reminds me of the kind of wallpaper used in castles. I will be adding a sentiment to the white panel, I just haven't got the right one at the moment.
- Images used are 'Knight and Princess' and 'Castle' by Elzybells.
- Paper is from the Victoria and Albert Museum 6x6 paper pack.

Hello.
A quick simple card to share with you. I added a bit of faux stitching and inked the edges of the card to add a bit more interest to it.

Thank you Lynn!

Hello.
Today I have received this beautiful card from Lynn. I have admired all the cards she has posted using this Hydrangea multi-step stamp, but I have to say they are even more stunning in person. Thank you so much Lynn for this gorgeous card!

Wallace and Gromit

Hello.
I've had a little re-organise of a few bits and I found a Wallace and Gromit kit that came with a magazine. Here's a quick set I made using it. The card is 3x3 and the bookmark is made using what I cut off the original card size.

Trick or Treat!

Hello.
Maybe a little early for Halloween I know, but I have wanted this stamp for quite a while so when I got it I couldn't not play with it.

One of my best friends birthday's is on October 28th, so we end up celebrating her birthday dressed up for Halloween. We always have such a fun night, so I will be giving her this card a few days before her birthday to let her know I am looking forward to it.- Image is 'Trick or Treat Trio' by Elzybells
- Sentiment is from 'DoodleFactory Creatures II'

DI Mouse

Hello.
This month I am participating in a progressive challenge over at Delightful Inspiration. Here is my card using this weeks free digi.

Elzybells sale!

Hello.
Many of you know by now how much I love Elzybells stamps. So when I saw there was a sale on, plus free worldwide shipping on orders over £35 I simply had to go and do some spending. Expect to see a few more Elzybells designs appearing here over the next few days and weeks.

- The sentiment is from the 'Just a note to say' set in the Hawthorne and Bramble line by DoCrafts.

A couple of birthday cards.

Hello.
This first card was made using only elements from the 'Winnie's Walls' 12x12 kit by S.E.I. The kit was bought for me by my FMIL.

Here is the inside. It has already been written, so you can see James and I are sending this one to my Grandma.

I bought a magazine yesterday which had some bumble bear stamps free with it. They are so cute, so I had to make a card with them straight away. Here's what I came up with.

ERPOM! Challenge number 7

Hello.
This time it is Chrisy's turn to host the challenge. She has asked us to create a monotone card using our favourite colour, but not black and white. Here are all the details.

I have two favourite colours, red and green, so I had to choose between them, but I think red seemed an easier option for a monotone card.

- The arrow stamp is from 'Fun and Funky Arrows' by Hot Off The Press - The stickers used for the sentiment are from the 'It's My Party' 12x12 Combo stickers sheet by BoBunny.

Delightful Inspiration

Hello.
Here is my entry for the Designs2Delight challenge. Check out the Delightful Inspiration blog for full details on the challenge. Saturday is my Grandma's birthday so she will be receiving this. Now I just need to get two more made for her to be from everyone else.
Here is the inside of the card.

The sentiment is stamped using Habico sets 'Upper Case 2' and 'Lower Case 2'

Digital Title Page

Hello.
I really like how this page turned out. It is only the fourth digital scrapbook page I have made. I am thinking about making my Florida book using digital scrapping so I can finally get somewhere with it. This will be the cover page.

Sunflower tent

Hello.
I have checked over the last few weeks of challenge on SCS to see what I've missed. The technique challenge for last week was to make a tent card. Here is my take on the technique.
Here is a side view.
- The sunflowers are from a stamp set designed for Marie Curie cancer research.
- The sentiment is from 'Cute Characters set 1' by Personal Impressions

Birthday boy

Hello.
This image was one of my practices at using the promarkers (I made this before the creature ones, I just didn't get it posted yet). The colour slightly bled outside the lines, but I thought I would use it on a card anyway.
- The image is from 'Cute Characters set 1' by Personal Impressions
- The sentiment is from 'Friendly Advice' in the Kid Quotes line by Inkadinkado
- The paper is from the 'Funky Vintage' 6x6 pad by Dovecraft
- The embellishements are washers which I had leftover from the washer pendant technique challenge on SCS.

A couple of creatures

Hello.
These guys were still on my desk waiting for somewhere to store them so I just had to play with them some more. I watched a couple of videos on youtube about colouring using promarkers so I've been practising.

Hanging with you

Hello.
Guess who's been naughty and been spending again! I've treated myself to some ProMarkers. They were half price at Hobbycraft so I bought five sets. I got Brights, Pastels, Winter, Summer and Skin Accents (they didn't have skin tones though, so I need to get them soon). You can see them in their five packs here. Then I couldn't resist the Hawthorne and Bramble range so I bought their stamps and paper too. The full range can be seen here, I bought the 'just a note to say' stamp set and the A5 paper pack. Here is what I've made with them.
I need to get some practice with colouring using the ProMarkers, and if you look in the middle of the grass there is a dint where I pushed the lid back onto the pen, but I like the overall look of the card.
