Aliens

Hello.

Before I get to today's card I have some news to share. On Friday night James and I went to a friends house for a party. While we were there James broke two bones in his foot. He is currently in hospital, and it's looking like he will be in until Tuesday. It means he will be in the hospital for his birthday, which is on Monday. I am trying to get in for visiting times as often as I can, which means I'm not going to have much time for making anything. I have a couple of cards ready to post though so my blog shouldn't be too quiet. So, on with the card. I used a couple of Dustin Pike stamps to make this scene. It's a pretty simple card, but I like how it turned out.

I challenged myself to use some digi's which I haven't used yet. I printed a few pages off, but decided to start by using this image and sentiment from Squigglefly.

I made this card for this weeks CPS sketch challenge. Their challenge blog can be found here. These characters from My Grafico instantly popped into my head when I saw the sketch so I had to use them.

Cool Kid

Yesterday James and I went for a walk at the local reservoir just before the sun started going down and then went to my Grandma's so I could make a quick card. I used one of the Kenny K images that I coloured recently, and kept it fairly simple.

Monsters Inc.

Hello.

Yesterday I felt like doing something fun on my nails. Between me and James we decided I should do Monsters Inc. inspired nails. I based my designs on the two main characters, so on my left hand I have blue with purple patches to represent Sully and on my right hand I have green with yellowy green spots to represent Mike.
