Belated Christmas Cards

Hello.
I had planned to post these five cards individually on the five days leading up to Christmas, but I ended up working a lot and didn't have time, so here they all are bunched into one post.

This one is made just using papers from the Papermania Honey and Hugs 'Festive Frolics' 12x12 kit.

This one is made just using papers from the Papermania 'Classic Christmas' 12x12 kit.

These papers are from the 'A Wonderful Christmas Time' 6x6 pad by Papermania. The stamp is from a set designed by Adam Pescott exclusively for 'Make Christmas Cards - Vintage Special' magazine.

Everything but the square gems on this card are from a special edition magazine which was called 'Just Great Papers - Christmas Cards'.

The two stamps used on this card also came from a set which was free with a magazine, these ones are by a company called onefourzero. The tartan paper is from the 'Checks' 6x6 pad by Paper Cellar.

Christmas lights

Hello.
Here is what I currently have on my nails. There are a few designs around YouTube showing how to paint Christmas lights, but this is my take on them.

These are the colours and the brushes I used to create this design.

New new

Hello!
So, it's been half a year since my last post. Oops! Since then I have started some new hobbies, mainly nail art and polymer clay jewellery, so there will be more than just papercrafts appearing on here from now on. Before I get back to normal blogging though here are a few samples of what I've been creating.

Nail art.

Polymer Clay Rings

Inspiration for most of my nail art and a few of my rings comes from RobinMoses, IHaveACupcake and 3Tanja3 on YouTube.

Grandma

Hello.
My Grandma turned 80 last month. This is the card that my brother and I sent to her. The papers on the background are from the Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen 'Venaissance' paper pack. I thought they matched so well with the patterns of the Grandma in the images clothes.

Rugby

Hello.
This card was made for my Uncles birthday. I was struggling to come up with ideas for his card, and then I remembered about these decoupage sheets which my mum bought for me a while back. The background was made by gently pressing different green ink pads straight onto card.

Cherry on top

Hello.
This card was made using a stamp set which came free with a magazine. They are by a company names Molly Blooms. I'm not sure how well it shows up in the picture, but the dots on the cupcake wrapper are filled with 'Star Dust' Stickles.

50!

Hello.
Sorry, I ended up disappearing for about a month again. I was having problems with Java so I'm trying this post on a different browser. I'll be sharing a few of the cards I didn't get to post over the next few days. This card was made for my Auntie who turned 50 recently. It's a really simple card, made using just a couple of sheets of the same paper, some 3d number stickers and a couple of pens to add some faux stitching.

Zombie

Hello.
I may be a little early for Halloween with this card, but I couldn't resist the fun sentiment. The image and sentiment are from Dude Time Doodles.

Here's the sentiment on the inside of the card:

Little rock chick

Hello.

This is Little Susie from Beccy's Place. I coloured her using pencils, other than the skin, which is vanilla promarker. I rarely use pencils as I'm not so good with them, but I like how they turned out on this.

Congratulations

Hello.
I haven't done any of the SCS challenges in so long, so I decided to check out what the current ones are. I made this card for WT324, which is to use stars. It is also based on one of this months sketches from Paper Smooches, which can be found here.

Great Sister

Hello.
Recently I haven't been making cards regularly. I make a few cards one day and then go a few days without making any. Today I made four cards, so I will be sharing them over the next four days. This first card uses the current freebie from Kenny K. After stamping the background in black I tried to add some interest to it by colouring over the images. It took a while to decide on the sentiment, and I'm not sure I ended up making the best choice since I don't have a sister, but I'm sure I will find something to do with it.

So sweet!

Hello.

Another fun, cute image for today's card. This time it comes from Some Odd Girl.

Monsters

Hello.

I have a fun card to share today. These cute little monsters are from Stamping Dragon Designs. I coloured the background paper to match the colours of the monsters, and then used some of my favourite glittery paper. I managed to get glitter everywhere again.

Fear!

Hello.
I made this card with my brother in mind. As soon as I found this sentiment I knew I had to make a card for him. I drew the web on the background myself. The spider image is by Dustin Pike and the sentiment is from Dude Time Doodles.

Groovy Granny

Hello.
I love the fun images found at Beccy's Place. This groovy granny comes from there and is known as Nell in Swimmers. You should definitely check out Beccy's blog for a great variety of images.

Just a quick and fun birthday card to share today.

Get Well Soon

Hello.
My Mum recently asked me for a get well soon card, so here's what I came up with for her. The fairies head and wings, and a couple of the flowers were cut out again and popped up to give a 3D effect.

Laughter and Tickles

Hello.
This bird image came from a stamp set which was free with a magazine. They are by a company called Polka Doodles, and they are adorable. The papers are all from the 'Wild Asparagus' 6x6 pad by My Mind's Eye

Back (again)

Hello!
I am back after yet again being gone for too long! My last come back was fairly short lived, so this time to make sure it lasts, I am going to get a few posts ready now as back-ups, so that there will be at least one post every week.

Onto the card... This was made for my cousin's boyfriends 21st. His surname is Fox, so I thought it would be cute to put a Fox on the card. I 'tattooed' the fox with an Ankh to match his tattoo.

Friendship

Hello.
Since I've not made much for a while, I've been playing with my favourite stamp sets to inspire me, so I had to get out the Doodle Factory creatures.

A few old projects.

Hello.
Today I thought I would share a few of the last projects I made last year, since they never made it onto my blog.

The first card uses papers from the 'Just Chillin' Boys 6x6 pad by Making Memories. The image is Valentine's Day Maddie by Stamp Insanity, and the sentiment was made using some old, unlabelled alphabet rub-on's.

The second card uses the same paper pad, but this time with an image by Mo's Digital Pencil.

This was a guest book I made for a friend's sister to give to her Grandma. The frames were for her to add pictures, and all the white space was for everyone at the party to write on. I kept it simple and just made four copies of each of the pages below, not including the title page.

Happy Birthday Mum!

Hello.
I am so happy to finally get back to blogging! I am still having computer issues, so I will not be updating as often as I used to, but I will post as often as possible.

This card is for my Mum, whose birthday it is today.
