I love you

Hello.
I wanted to create a card using my favourite colour combination as I haven't made one in a while, so here is what I came up with.

Have I?

Hello.
This card started out with me choosing the sticker I wanted as my sentiment and building around that.

Favourite mum.

Hello.
As soon as I saw this Finally Friday card by Kristina Werner I knew I wanted to CASE it. When the card was finished I chose the stamp set I wanted to use for the sentiment but I wasn't sure which sentiment to use. The 'favourite' stamp reminded me of how my mum often calls me her favourite daughter (I am her only daughter) so I thought I would make this sentiment just for her.

Hello!

Hello.
This card is made using papers and a die cut from the 'Just Chillin' boys range by Making Memories. I thought I would try writing on the card but I'm not sure I liked how it turned out.

Flower girl.

Hello.
This easel card has been waiting half finished on my desk for a couple of days. But my mum brought these flowers home for me and I thought one would be the perfect finishing touch. The image is by Digi Stamps 4 Joy.

Hello.
I have been asked to make a birthday card for James uncle. He is a drummer, so I really wanted to use this stamp. Here is what I came up with.

Party!

Shopping

Hello.
While James and I were in Bridlington with his parents I saw this stamp set on the front of a magazine, but didn't end up buying it. However, it was recently given to me by my FMIL. I made this really quick and simple single layer card using it. I was going to add a border, but I wasn't sure what to use.

I stamped one of the smaller images on the inside just to add a finishing touch.

Birthday bear

Hello.
I coloured this bear when he was the DI freebie, but ended up using a smaller version for my card. I thought this one had been waiting long enough to go on a card so I've made this for him.

You are special

Hello.
I've been playing with my doodlefactory creatures again. They are so fun! The image is from set 1 and the sentiment is from set 2.

Forever young take two

Hello.
The set I used for the sentiment yesterday was still on my desk when I sat down to create something, so I played around with making a single layer card using only that set. Here is what I came up with.

Forever young

Hello.
This card started out as a single layer, but I decided it would be better with a frame around the edge. I stamped the image once and then embossed it slightly to the side to give a shadowed effect. The faux stitching along the bottom is wavy to go with the sentiment.

Birthday bear

Hello
This weeks Delightful Inspirations freebie was this gorgeous bear.
For the inside I used google to find a verse related to teddy bears. I found this really sweet poem, whose author is anonymous. The poem reads:
When I was just a wee little bear,
My owner dragged me everywhere,
Filled me up with cold mud pie,
Bit my nose and lost my tie,
Left me outside in the rain,
Spilled her juice and left this stain,
But I didn't whine or scold,
'Cause she was just two years old!
And what's a faithful bear to do,
When his little girl is only two?

Rock queen

Hello.
I've been feeling a little uncreative the past few days so I've mostly just been colouring a few digital stamps which I printed. Here is a card using one of the images I have coloured. The image is from Stamp it Crazy and all the paper are from the 'Rock Queen' mat stack by DCWV.

Life's a beach

Hello.
Just a quick card for now using a digital stamp by TLC Creations, which I got from the freebie challenge on CDAC. The sentiment is from 'mini messages - At The Beach' by Elzybells.
About half an hour after I post this I will going for my first driving lesson. I'm a little bit nervous so wish me luck!

Photo book

Hello.
This photo book is made entirely from Papermania products all of which were bought for me by my FMIL. The papers and the two small flowers are from the Verde colour range in the Capsule collection. The two larger flowers are made using the 3D Petals template sheet.

Here are what the pages look like at the moment. I chose the pictures I wanted to put in, but the printer ran out of coloured ink.

Surfer girl

Hello.
I didn't realise as I was making this card how much the blue chalk got everywhere! Despite the blue marks I still like the card overall. I may however re-make it a little neater sometime soon.
Here is the inside.
- The sentiments and the beach are from 'Surf's Up' by Elzybells
- The girl is 'Surfer Girl' by Elzybells

Aliens!

Hello.
On the Doodle Dragon Studios shop you can buy all the images from last year in one bundle. I purchased this bundle recently and here is a card using two of the images. I added spots of glitter to the black card to look like stars.

Hot Dog

Hello.
Here is my card using this months freebie from Kenny K.

Hedgehog in the spotlight

Hello.
I've been wanting to do a 'proper' spotlight card for quite a while, but didn't have any large enough stamps. The only one I've made before was the one on this post, using different colours of the same patterned paper. So here is my first 'proper' spotlight card. I decided to colour outside the spotlight so that it looked black and white rather than just leaving the outline.

- The image is from the 'Just a Note to Say' set in the 'Hawthorne and Bramble' line, which is part of the 'Daisy and Dandelion' range by Docrafts.

You rock my world!

Hello.
When I saw this freebie on the Bugaboo stamps site I had to have it! I am very tempted to buy the rest of this set, but it will have to wait for now. This guys head is popped up on foam pads. The image panel is inked along the edges in silver, purple and black but it doesn't show on the image. On the inside I kept it simple and just added the sentiment which came with the image.
