Disappeared

Hello.

I'm just here to quickly explain why I seem to have disappeared. The main computer in my house has a virus, so I can't use that, and the laptop I am currently on has a broken fan making it overheat every 10-15 minutes. Hopefully the virus will be gone soon and I can get back to blogging.

Chef

One of the birthday's at the end of this month is one of my friends who has now become kitchen manager at the Cafe she works in. I have made this card for her as a back-up. I have a stamp set on order which I want to make her card with, but if it doesn't get here on time she will receive this.

Volcano Birthday

This card was really quick and simple to make, but I really enjoyed colouring the lava. I just sized this Dustin Pike image to fit the card coloured it and stuck it on the card front.

This is going to be my Dad's birthday card. His birthday is on Halloween, but I think he's probably had enough Halloween themed cards from me before. This record player is from Starry Night Studios

First birthday

Yesterday I mentioned I need to get a few birthday cards done for the end of this month, but for some reason I skipped ahead to the end of next month and made this card for James' cousin's daughter who will be turning one. I made the faux patchwork using papers from the 'Watercolours' and 'Rainbow' mat stacks by Sizzix. The adorable image is by Mo's Digital Pencil, I've seen her stamps on a few people's blogs but only just got around to getting myself some.

1 Year Anniversary

The end of this month is quite a busy time for birthday's so I'm trying to get ahead on the cards. This one is for James' sister and her husband who will be celebrating their first anniversary in a couple of weeks.

I used the same five papers to add a decorative strip on the inside.

This pocket digi was the freebie with the colour challenge on CDAC, but I didn't use the right colours so I'm not entering it. I've sat Joszette from the 'Les Coquettes' set by Stamp Insanity on top of the pocket.

Birthday girl

This sweet image is a freebie from Stamp Insanity. She is a Valentine's day image, but she is only holding a Valentine's card which is fairly well hidden so she can be used for anything really.

Bass baby

This card is for two challenges. The challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz was 'bling it on' so I have given her a glittery bass and earrings, and added some gems. The second challenge is this weeks CPS sketch.

Circle Paper

I had the idea for this paper in my head all day and made it straight after getting home from work. Usually things don't go exactly how I want them to look but this paper went pretty much perfect!

Halloween set

I've been using more Elzybells stamps today. I've made a set of five really simple Halloween cards. They were really quick to make, but I think they came out quite cute.

This image by Digi Stamps 4 Joy reminded me of one of my friends as she loves to try out different syles with her hair, so this will be going to her at some point.

Christmas in September part 2

Here is my card using one of the other Kenny K images I bought recently. I coloured him using pencils which is not something I do often, but I thought they would be the easiest way to get all the small parts like his tattoos.

Devilish Donna

Kenny K has so many great designs in his shop it was hard for me to limit myself to only buying three, but I managed it and Devilish Donna is one of the images I chose. I created the background using the 'Rock Star' set by Inkadinkado.

Glitter fairy

I used another image of the cute fairy from Beccy's Place for this card. Those glittery papers ended up getting glitter all over the place, but I think it was worth it!

Yesterday i went shopping and found a book called 'Night of the Living Trekkies'. I had to buy it since James is a fan of both Zombies and Star Trek. Then today I found this Zombie freebie on Make It Crafty, so I merged the two together to make this gift set for him.

I recently printed off a lot of digi stamps, which is why all the last few (and the next few) posts are using digi stamps. This image was the Kenny K freebie a couple of months back. The papers are from the 'Just Chillin Girls' 6x6 pad by Making Memories. I added a pearl and a bit of embroidery thread to finish off.
