Hello.
The challenge for day 23 of the 31 Day Card Challenge is to take inspiration from a card on the last blog you visited. I'm not going to have chance to make a card today so I did this yesterday. I made the card after I had visited all the blogs of my blog groups, and the last one I visited was Lynn's. It was tough to choose a card to be inspired by as she has so many wonderful ones. I ended up choosing this post as the technique seemed really interesting. For my card I used a really old stamp set called Victorian Butterflies, and a sentiment from a Polka Doodles set.

Santa
Hello.
I couldn't resist the adorable Nitwit stamp set which came with the latest Simply Homemade magazine. The Santa from that set was used for this card. Santa's candy cane has star dust Stickles between each stripe. The paper he is backed on is from a collection designed by Beth Gunnell. The snowflake and sentiment are both from a Polka Doodles set. All the papers on this card have silver ink along the edges, although the picture is only showing it on the patterned paper.

Floral Birthday
Hello.
The last of the five birthday cards I needed for this month is for James' Auntie. This one is going to have to go in the post so I kept it to one layer. After a lot of deliberation I decided to leave it black and white.

The Lord's House
Hello.
I printed off a page of digi stamps lately by Dee Dee's called Words of Comfort. The quote I chose for this card seemed to work perfect with an image of a house, so I chose this one by Polka Doodles. The background paper is from the Earth Palette pack by Hot Off The Press. To finish off the card I added some flower shaped buttons, which came from the Tub 'o' Buttons.
