Happy Birthday Geran! and Happy Anniversary Treena and Bob!

Hello.
Today is James' Auntie's birthday, and his parents anniversary, so I have two cards to share.

First is the card for his Auntie, I masked off an area in the middle of the card and then stamped a butterfly from the Just Chillin' set by Making Memories. When I removed the mask I added some faux stitching and stamped a sentiment from the Jungle Creatures set by Kanban.

For his parents anniversary card I used Derek and Deirdery Dunderton from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps. They were backed by some white card and a paper from the Oxford pad by Basic Grey, both of which were inked along the edges. I don't have an anniversary stamp and I didn't want to use an alphabet set so for the sentiment I used Family Greetings by Elzybells to create one.

Happy Birthday Gemma!

Hello.
Today is James' cousins birthday. For her card I have used Happy Hour by Kenny K. I kept the card simple by just using a couple of pieces of card which matched the colours of her dress. The sentiment comes from the Jungle Creatures set by Kanban.

Never ending card

Hello.
I have been browsing through techniques and decided I wanted to give a never ending card a try. I followed the directions from this video. All the stamps I used are from the Jungle Creatures set by Kanban.

Russian dolls

Hello.
This card uses a combination of four different stamp companies. The image of the doll comes from another magazine freebie set, which doesn't have a company name on it. I used the masking technique to turn it into three dolls. The clear flower is from the stamp set in Dovecraft's Sugar and Spice range. The block flower is from Kanban's Jungle Creatures set,and the sentiment comes from Hobbycraft's Thank You set.

Special to me

Hello.
These two guys have been cut, coloured and waiting to go on a card for a while now. I found them while I was rooting through my box of cut out images. The Gorilla is popped up on one foam pad and the Monkey is on two.
- The papers are from the 'Spring Burst' 6x6 pad by Papermania
- The images are from the 'Jungle Buddies' stamp set by Kanban
- The sentiment is from the 'Piggy' stamp set in the Honey and Hugs range by Papermania

Magic bear.

Hello.
I've been meaning to try the magic technique for a while, but I always thought it looked really hard. Well, it isn't so hard and it makes for really fun cards. I ended up making the technique up as I was going along, but the instructions to do it properly are here. I think I will be following them a little more next time.
Here is the coloured image after the tab has been pulled up.
- The sentiment is from Jungle Creatures by Kanban
- The image is from a Bently Bear set which came free with Cardmaking and Papercrafts magazine
- The paper came from a magazine too, but I'm not sure which as it's an old one.

3x3

Hello.
I don't know if I'll get time to post this in the morning before I go to work, so I am experimenting with timed posts.

This set of cards started off with the landscape one, then I thought I would turn it into a challenge for myself. The challenge was to create three cards using only those three papers and that one stamp. The papers are all from the 'Bloom and Grow' 8x8 pad by My Mind's Eye. The sentiment stamp is from 'Jungle Buddies' by Kanban.

Here they all are individually:

Samples day five

Hello.
Sorry for the lack of samples yesterday, I had a very busy day. Busy in a good way though. I worked in the morning and then my FMIL took me here. Very impressive craft shop! I will definitely be going again when I've saved up some money. Then when James finished work, the two of us and his parents went to Taybarns.

So, here are yesterday's samples, and I will be back later with today's. (I ran out and need to make a few more to post for the next 3 days.) - The paper is from the Verde paper pack which is part of the the Capsule Collection by Papermania.
- The flower image is In Bloom by Technique Tuesday.
- With Love is from the Jungle Buddies set by Kanban.
- The scallop border is from the Flounce set in the Persimmon Collection by Papermania.

The second card only took ten minutes to make. It is 2 1/2" square.
- Party time and the flower are from the Chick set in the Honey and Hugs range by Papermania.
- The flowers on the background are from the Flounce set in the Persimmon Collection by Papermania

Cross stitch monkey

Hello.
This monkey has been waiting for a frame for quite a while now. I promised him to my fiance when I finished stitching him, and now I can finally give him to him.
I'm not usually one for putting things on the inside of my cards but I couldn't resist stamping this guy in the bottom corner.
Also, I just wanted to let you know the blog candy I mentioned before I went away is being postponed. I'm going to save it until it is my turn to host my blog groups challenge.

Kanban creatures

Hello.
Another couple of cards using another of my new stamp sets. The first one is this monkey spinner card. There are another two smaller pictures to give you an idea of the spinning effect.
This second one is a 3" square card. I think I have fallen in love with this set, and will be using it a lot more in the next couple of weeks.
- Stamps on both cards are from a set by Kanban stamps which I can not find anywhere online.
